Celadon wishes you a green christmas!!!
I have been shopping lately and am having a hard time buying more stuff! It seems that there is already so much at my house, my warehouse, my storage units – that how can I possibly buy more??? I decided to go through some old decor stuff and re-purpous items for christmas presents. I am going to paint them and make them cooler than anything I could find in the store. It makes me feel so much better to recycle some old dust collectors!!!! The above photo features an event we did over the summer using our recycled fence wood tables, and note the white fencing around the chandeliers- yea, they were from the back yard too!!! Thanks to the wind storm that blew down half our fence and instigated this project!!
Question – how come I cannot go to the dump and search for cool items before they get ground up? Sometimes I snag things before I get caught, last time I found a totally awesome old wood sled!!! It seems so sad that so much good stuff just goes to waste! What can possibly be done to prevent this?
